Webinar: “Loving Someone Gay” Three-Part Webinar

How to deal with requests, anger, withdrawals or fears your gay loved-one may be expressing and how to respond to the kind of situations you may be facing as the holidays approach.

Wednesdays 12pm PST, 3pm EST
Nov 11 | Dec 9 | Jan 13

  • Your gay friend told you if you can’t come to his wedding, you can’t be friends.
  • Your lesbian daughter wants to bring her partner home for the holidays.
  • Your gay co-worker wants to talk about your beliefs as a Christian.
  • Your Christian friend wants to walk away from homosexuality and asks for your help.

Are you ready for these conversations? Because ready or not, you’re going to have them!

That’s why in the 3-part webinar we’re going to learn how to DEAL with the tricky issues that come up when someone you live is gay, how to DISCUSS the basic differences you have, and how to DISCIPLE someone who says ” I know this is wrong.  I want God’s will.  So what do I do now?”

November 11, 12:00 Noon PST
Part 1: DEALING With Your Relationship
We’ll learn how to DEAL with requests, anger, withdrawal, ultimatums, or fears your gay friend or loved one may be expressing.  By the time we finish you’ll be equipped to respond to the kind of situations you may be facing as the holidays approach.

December 9, 12:00 Noon PST
Part 2: DISCUSSING Your Differences
We’ll cover DISCUSSING.  I’ll be presenting a model to follow when trying to open up a discussion with someone who holds a pro-gay viewpoint, and I’ll be presenting rules of engagements, strategies, and tools you can use to make the most of each conversation.

Part 3: DISCIPLING In Truth
We’ll look at the opportunity you have when someone says “I’m gay and I want to follow Christ.” You have an amazing opportunity to DISCIPLE that person, and you’re the one to do it! We’ll discuss how to give the full counsel of God and walk with them through through their journey.  I’ll be explaining what that journey was like for me, and what that person is going to need from you.

Each webinar includes 60 minutes of teaching and 30 minutes of Q & A. Participants will receive a set of outlines to accompany the webinar.

The cost is $45.00 for a complete three-part series.

Each part of the webinar will be recorded, and each participant will be sent a free link to view the recorded version. That way you can view each part of the entire webinar whether or not you’re available during it’s live presentation.

I sure hope you’ll join us!
