Personal Prayer Request for My Mother and Family

Please keep my family and I in prayer this weekend, as I will be staying with my mother who is very ill and having a pretty rough time of it. This prohibits normal posting today, which I hope you’ll understand. Mom’s health has been on the slide for a couple years now, really, and we’re all pulling together to be with her and do what we can. Renee and my son are such good allies right now, and stressful as this time is I can’t help but count myself incredibly blessed to have the family that God’s given me. Still, should you think of it over the next couple days, I’d surely appreciate prayers for Mom, and for all of us. Thanks so much. Will be posting regularly come Monday.

Love,

Joe

It is a hard road to walk. I pray you have strength to do what is needed and that your mom feels the love and security of family close.

We will be praying as you spend this weekend with your mother. May the Lord's grace be evident to everyone present as you gather around her.

Will be in prayer for you as you have helped many. I cared for my parents in their last days & every moment near them counts-especially to let them know over & over how much we Love & Appreciate them-there's nothing more precious outside of Christ than a parent's love. I've not contacted you yet, however, do read your site, as I have a son who has almost died numerous times from drugs/abuses & his life in the gay community. He is in AA now @ 30 but very rebellious towards the Lord. I continue to trust HIM, pray continually & am grateful for your candid sharings-as I trust my boy will one day be open to your ministry-which is my hope. Blessings to you during this season with your Mother, Joe, as you minister gratitude and Love to her heart. mary
