  • ReStory Ministries Fall Webinar Series is designed for family members, pastors, and counselors.

More and more Christian parents are hearing the words, “Mom, Dad, I have something to tell you.” When LGBTQ hits home, Christian parents may know where they stand, but they have a thousand questions about how to stand. They love the Lord, they love their kids, and they’re not willing to give either one up. In this two-part series, Biblical counselor and author Joe Dallas draws on his 36 years of experience working with Christian parents in this situation.

Part 1: Here’s What To Do
Christian parents today know that their kids are hearing about homosexuality and transgender issues early in life. They also know that the messages their kids are getting are not what the parents want them to learn. In this webinar, Joe will walk parents through the steps to begin teaching their kids about sexuality and gender from early childhood, in ways that are age appropriate and Biblical.

Part 2: Here’s What To Say
When LGBTQ hits home, there are three important things to know: what to ask, how to answer, and how to get a receptive dialogue going.  In this session, Joe will list the commonest questions an LGBTQ loved-ones will ask, the best answers to provide, the best way to make boundaries and expectations clear, and the best way to keep the conversation going. The goal of preserving the relationship without compromising your integrity will be emphasized.

Each webinar includes 30 minutes of teaching and 30 minutes of Q & A.
Participants will receive a Zoom link by email prior to the webinar and links to additional resources.

There is no charge for the complete two-part series, but registration is required.

Each part of the webinar will be recorded, and each participant will be sent a free link to view the recorded version. That way you can view each part of the entire webinar whether or not you’re available during its live presentation.

We sure hope you’ll join us!
