Webinar: “I’m Gay & Christian. Okay?” Three-Part Webinar
When a friend or loved one challenges you to a whole new way of looking at what the Bible says about homosexuality, you know the stakes are high. How will you answer when someone says, “I’m gay and I’m saved. OK?”.
Wednesdays 12pm PST, 3pm EST
August 12 | Sept 19 | Oct 14
More and more people are coming out of the closet, not only declaring themselves gay, but Christian as well. “God’s OK with it!”, they say, “and so is the Bible.”
In this 3-part webinar, we’ll learn how pro-gay advocates are rewriting key scriptures in the Old and New Testaments, and we’ll learn how to answer their rewrites. We’ll also learn how to talk – calmly, clearly, respectfully – with friends and loved ones holding the gay-affirming religious view.
And we’ll learn all of that with the hope that, by God’s grace, we can see a soul won back to the truth, and to Him.
Here are the dates and the topics covered in the series:
August 12, 12:00 Noon PST
Part 1: Moses Supposes
How pro-gay advocates interpret the Old Testament, and how to discuss Sodom and Gomorrah, the Law of Moses, and David and Jonathan.
September 16, 12:00 Noon PST
Part 2: Jesus Loves Me Anyway
How pro-gay advocates interpret the New Testament, and how to discuss the teachings of Jesus, the writings of Paul, and how a true disciple views sexuality and the cross.
October 14, 12:00 Noon PST
Part 3: Let Us Reason Together
How to have a redemptive conversation with a gay-affirming Christian, and how to answer ten of the commonest arguments you’re likely to hear in the process.
Each webinar includes 60 minutes of teaching and 30 minutes of Q & A. Participants will receive a set of outlines to accompany the webinar.
The cost is $45.00 (a 25% discount) for all three parts. The webinar will be recorded, and each participant will be sent a free link to view the recorded version
I sure hope you’ll join us!
